慕尼黑聖誕市集巡禮 （第一集）Tour of X'mas market in Munich (Nr. 1)

近年來在台灣也開始盛行的聖誕市集，
實際上起源於德國與奧地利地區，
正式名稱為「Weihnachtsmarkt」。
隨著原本準備過冬而囤積日常生活用品的目的逐漸消失，
觀光目的實際上已經大於日常所需了。

Recently so the called "X'mas market" is also getting popular in Taiwan, which is actually original from the german area such as Germany and Austria.
Its official name is "Weihnachtsmarkt".
Comparing to the past, the touristic reasons are much more important than daily needs in these days.

各個城市在十一月底到聖誕節前夕，
都會在主要廣場上擺設聖誕市集的攤位，
而慕尼黑自然沒有例外！
在巴伐利亞邦，聖誕市集也稱為「Christkindlmarkt」，
雖然名稱有所不同，但本質上並沒有太大的差異。
今年慕尼黑周邊的聖誕市集開放時間落在十一月二十七日到十二月二十四日平安夜之間，
有興趣的朋友們，別錯過接下來的聖誕市集簡介喔！

Every city will arrange X'mas market on the main square from the end of November to the day before Christmas, and Munich is of course, not an exception.
In Bavarian, Weihnachtsmarkt's also called "Christkindlmarkt";
however, there's no difference particularly.
In this year, the X'mas market shall be hold from 27th Nov. until 24th Dec..

1. Christkindlmarkt auf dem Marienplatz

此位於觀光中心地帶的聖誕市集，其涵蓋面積應屬慕尼黑市區第二大（僅次於Tollwood），且居於慕尼黑所有聖誕市集中，觀光客造訪人數的龍頭地位。據市政府統計指出，光是到十二月中旬，就已經有一百七十幾萬人造訪！

This market, which is located in the centre of tourism, should be the second big market in Munich (the first one should be Tollwood), but it gets the most tourists because of its location. According to the city hall, there've been more than 1.7 million people, who visited!

在這個聖誕市集，基本上人們已經可以看到所有德國聖誕市集所應該具有的特色：熱紅酒、現烤薑餅以及數不清的傳統手工藝品。唯一美中不足的地方在於，身為觀光客集散地，也意謂著必須捨棄傳統聖誕節那寧靜安詳的氛圍......。







In this X'mas market, you can basically see all spotlights of a german X'mas market: Glühwein, Lebkuchen and many handmade decorations. The only defect is that because of the location there're too many tourists instead of a "silent night"....

不過，一趟來到慕尼黑，就算並非為了聖誕市集而來，也不該錯過聖誕裝飾下光鮮亮麗的新市政廳！另外，往Sendlingerstraße方向尚有一座小型的附屬聖誕市集（Rindermarkt），即便人潮不如瑪麗恩廣場，但是燈光裝飾卻一點也不馬虎，也算是個逃離喧囂的好去處！







However, even you're not coming to Munich because of its X'mas markets, you shouldn't miss the brillant city hall with its christmas decorations. On the other hand, if you go along to the Sendlingerstraße, there's a small market on the Rindermarkt, which could get you away from the noise on the main square!

2. Schwabinger Weihnachtsmarkt

這座聖誕市集位於慕尼黑主要幹道「路德維希大街」（Ludwigstr.）的盡頭。
自十九世紀晚期以來，以藝術家集散區獨樹一格的史瓦賓區，自然不會錯過一年一度的聖誕市集盛會。除了該有的德國聖誕市集元素，也多了許多手工飾品，並主打附近大學城的年輕市場。憑藉著交通便利，以及較少觀光人潮的優勢，近年來也成為相當是歡迎的聖誕市集之一。可惜的是，價格就所有聖誕市集比較起來似乎偏高......。





This market's located at the end of one of the main streets of Munich - Ludwigstr..
From the late 19th, the Schwabing area is the center of artists, and of course they won't miss the X'mas market season. Except of all the german X'mas elements, it's particularly popular for students. Because of the location and lack of tourists, it's getting more popular in these years. The pity is that the prices here are a little bit more expensive than others....

3. Weihnachtsdorf in der Residenz

位於著名觀光景點 - 皇宮 - 內的聖誕市集，應該算是容易被忽略的聖誕市集之一了！麻雀雖小，五臟俱全是相當適合他的形容詞句。食物、飲料，甚至是服裝飾品，應有盡有。除了交通便利外，價格並沒有因為地點而特別升高。然而由於場地的關係，似乎不太適合有幽閉恐懼症或是人群恐懼症的患者前來......，畢竟天空被四周的建築物遮去了一半，更是有著瞬間讓人群增多的效果！

It's located in one of the touristic spotlights of Munich - the residence; therefore, some people might just ignore it. Even though it's small, it does get everything we need. Foods, drinks, even clothes can be found here. It's easy to reach with underground, and the prices are reasonable. However, because of the location, I do not suggest people who have Claustrophobia or Sociophobia to come here..., after all, the sky was half covered by the buildings...!
